Dr. Jayme Mashayekh graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. While in attendance, she participated in research sponsored by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, as well as travelling to Ghana, Africa on a medical missions trip.

She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama where she was elected to receive membership in the OKU Honor Society.

She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Association of General Dentistry as well as the Birmingham District Dental Society.
