The event originally scheduled for 11/7/2017 is going to be postponed due to rain. We will instead be accepting candy at our office on 11/8/2017 and 11/9/2017 from 7AM to 5PM.
After you’ve eaten as much Halloween candy as you can, consider donating the rest to Operation Gratitude through our Candy Buy Back event on November 7th!
We will be giving $1 – per pound of candy donated – back to you! Plus we’ll donate another $1 per pound to the Birmingham Food Bank!
Operation Gratitude is a non-profit organization that sends care packages to our troops deployed overseas as a way to say “Thank You” for all that they do! They disperse the candy into several packages, so it isn’t just one person eating 5 pounds of candy. Besides your sweet Halloween treats, you can donate books, movies, video games, CDs and a lot more! Check out their website for more details: www.operationgratitude.com/wishlist/
Candy is a really fun part of the Halloween experience and we certainly don’t want to take the fun out of the sweet tradition! But if you have any surplus amounts of treats this Halloween, please donate! We had a fantastic turn out last year and look forward to another successful year this time around!
This year our friends and fellow local businesses will be helping us put it on.
Make sure to thank them if you don’t get a chance when you drop off your candy.
We will be outside our office on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 from 3-6:30Pm.
We hope to see you there!
