Single day crowns eliminate the need for impressions or temporary crowns. On the day of your appointment, the tooth is digitally scanned with a 3D scanner. Then, Dr. Jayme designs the crown using CAD\CAM technology. Once this is completed, the crown is milled in the office while you wait!

The traditional method for crown placement is:
Appointment 1
Decay is removed from the tooth and prepared for the crown
Impression of tooth is taken to send to a dental lab to make the crown
A temporary crown is placed for up four weeks until the permanent is ready
Appointment 2
Temporary is removed
Permanent is placed
