CROWNS

A dental crown is needed when tooth decay has become too extensive and will no longer hold a filling in place. Watch our video to see our advanced technology at work!

Did someone say Single day crown?

Single day crowns eliminate the need for impressions or temporary crowns. On the day of your appointment, the tooth is digitally scanned with a 3D scanner. Then, Dr. Jayme designs the crown using CAD\CAM technology. Once this is completed, the crown is milled in the office while you wait!

Benefits

  • NO GOOPY IMPRESSIONS

Impressions are taken with a digital, 3D camera, and then a computer model is created of your teeth.

  • NO TEMPORARY CROWN

Your crown will be made before you leave, so there is no reason to have a temporary crown.

  • NO SECOND APPOINTMENT

We know you’re busy. With single-visit dentistry, you will have your permanent crown when you leave. No reason to come back until your six month cleaning appointment!

  • NO GETTING NUMB A SECOND TIME

No one likes having their mouth numbed. We eliminate the second numbing since the permanent crown will be placed while you are still numb from the first time.

  • STRONGEST CROWN

Our crowns are made with solid zirconia. This is the strongest material available for dental crowns. Rest easy knowing your crown can withstand the force of a hammer.

Traditional Method for Crowns

The traditional method for crown placement is:

  1. Appointment 1

    • Decay is removed from the tooth and prepared for the crown

    • Impression of tooth is taken to send to a dental lab to make the crown

    • A temporary crown is placed for up four weeks until the permanent is ready

  2. Appointment 2

    • Temporary is removed

      Permanent is placed
